Does anybody remember an elder gentleman named Ike that used to walk up and down "I" Street in the summer time. A wonderful man. I often wonder how he is doing.

Mr Sandy thank you for the info on poor Ike. I am so sorry to hear that. By the way you wouldn't happen to be the gentleman who used to give the younger children pinwheels are you? I lived a few doors down from you I believe. You were one of the sweetest people I have ever met and my mother and I have fond memories of you and some of the other neighbors. Do you still live in the area?

I remember when the place to be on a Saturday night was Kellis Bar. Had some good times in there and actually met my first husband there.
